Local historian Melanie FitzGerald will share new insights into the importance of the local packhorse routes in and around Sheffield and how to identify the evidence which can still be found.

The talk will be based on the information in the book ' An Introduction to Packhorse Routes in the Sheffield Lakelands Area' Melanie and others produced as part of The Heritage Highways Project. The book will be availably to purchase.
