Broomhill Library, Taptonville Road, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S10 5BR

  • 12 Sep 2024
  • In person
  • Pre-booking not required

Thousands of plants have been introduced into Britain from before Roman times by travellers, warriors, explorers and plant hunters. We will find out about the history of the plants in our Percy Cane Heritage Garden and perhaps your garden too.

An opportunity to identify some of the plants in our garden and find out where they originated and how they manage to thrive or not in some cases in our climate. Maybe you can't identify a plant in your garden - bring it along and we'll try to help - and find out more about it.
