Explore Brookwood Cemetery one of the most significant heritage assets in the Borough of Woking. It is a Grade I listed Park and Garden, set in 220 acres of landscaped grounds, rich in architecture, ecology, horticulture and history.

Celebrating 170 years since opening, this is a chance to explore the beautiful grounds and learn about the history of the cemetery.
View inside the mausoleums and visit the exhibition and Chapel of St Edward Brotherhood, the exhibition at the Trench Experience and the St James Gardens reburial site.
Take a short ride on the Mizens Railway - A passenger carrying miniature railway.
There will be an opening ceremony for letters to heaven at 11am.
The Cemetery Society will be leading two walks at 12noon and 2pm (no prebooking required) and there will be hand out trails available for those who like to explore on their own.
There will be a photography competition, please register upon arrival - best photos will win a prize and be credited in future publications and on the cemetery website.
There will be a A flight of Birds of Prey at 1.pm.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission and American Battle Monument Commission will be supporting the event.
Refreshments available.

Directions:
Rail Brookwood Cemetery is served by South Western Railway services out of London Waterloo. The journey time is approximately forty minutes to Brookwood Station. There is an exit at the station leading directly into the cemetery grounds. The event location will be sign posted. Car Join the A322 either from the M3 (junction 3) or from Guildford (via the A3). Cemetery Pales, the road which runs through the Cemetery grounds, is a direct turn off the A322. The event location will be sign posted.
