Join former borough archaeologist for Sandwell (later Birmingham and now works at Birmingham University) Mike Hodder as he explores the history of Bromwich Hall and medieval West Bromwich.

Explore and discover Bromwich Hall, once the home of the Lords of the Manor of West Bromwich with Dr Mike Hodder. Bromwich Hall is a remarkable survival where the rest of medieval West Bromwich has disappeared with the great hall dating back to the 1270s.

Enjoy a talk about this fascinating building and discover what medieval West Bromwich was like the have the opportunity of looking around. The house is open until 1:30pm for you to explore.

Accessibility details

There is only wheelchair access to the great hall and this is at the back of the property - follow the path around the back of the house to the right if you are facing the building. floors are uneven and doorways are low and it can be dark in places inside the building.
