Explore Bromley House Library with the whole family! For 2024, the library will be focusing on our connections with Nottingham City for Heritage Open Day. Trails for younger visitors, hands-on activities in conservation work at Bromley House and explorations of our Georgian Garden.
Rarely seen special collections relating to Nottingham authors will be on display in Neville Hoskins Reading Room; including some of the unique works showcased in our Byron at Bromley exhibition for the Byron200 events this year.
Bromley House Library is a Georgian gem with beautiful rooms, over 50,000 books and a lovely and unique walled garden. The library is currently not accessible to wheelchairs, pushchairs, and mobility scooters. The tour involves several flights of stairs and regrettably we do not have a lift. There are steps up into the library's entrance and up to the first, second and third floors of the building.
