Bridport Quaker Meeting House
97 South Street, Bridport, Dorset, DT6 3NZ
Bridport Quaker Meeting House has been used by Quakers since 1697 and has a well recorded history of its architecture and use to the present day, which is represented in an exhibition of the building development and offers observational hunts for accompanied children. Refreshments available. Current Quaker members on hand to answer any questions about Quakerism today.
The adjacent Quaker Peace Garden is open to the public every day. Visitors are welcome to join us in the garden at 3pm for afternoon tea and fun activities for children and adults to celebrate the 400th birthday of George Fox, the founder of Quakerism, who visited Bridport Quakers in 1655.
