  • 12 Sep 2024
  • In person
  • Pre-booking required

Join the Parks Trust on a tour of the Ouse Valley to look at the history of the sites around Old Wolverton and beyond.

As part of Heritage Open Days join us to discover the border of the early iteration of England with a walk and talk along the valley of the river Ouse. Led by one of the Parks Trust most experienced team members, this unique walk will teach you all about the Motte and Bailey castle in Old Wolverton, and how the Saxons shaped the landscape along the river’s ever changing path.

The walk will involve hard paths, grassy areas, and some slopes. Please ensure you wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
If you have any questions about the event please contact us on [email protected].
