Boothstown Village Hall
9 Vicars Hall Lane, Boothstown, Worsley, Manchester, Greater Manchester, M28 1JF
The building opened as the village Church of England school for Boothstown in 1874. THIS YEAR'S EVENT WILL LOOK BACK OVER THE LAST 150 YEARS. Until August 2011 it was part of St Andrew's CE school, Boothstown. Since then, it has been run as Boothstown village hall by a group of volunteers from the community, as a community resource. There will be displays of historic documents relating to the old school and Boothstown in general, memories from members of the community and the opportunity to look round the building. Come and see if you can find yourself in a photograph, or perhaps you are mentioned in one of the school log books or records! Interesting for children and families, especially those who attended St Andrew's or Boothstown CE school.
