With the bustle of summer over, autumn is the perfect time to enjoy a leisurely stroll around the majestic castle. If you have never visited before, this is the ideal time to plan a day trip to Bodiam Castle and find out why it is one of the most visited attractions in the South East.
Take in the stunning Autumn colours as you follow the meandering path to the castle gates. You can picnic on the grass and admire the golden sandstone walls, or climb up the spiral staircases and walk along the battlements for panoramic views across the Sussex countryside.
Thursday 12 September:
Chat to the Bodiam Castle conservation team as they clean objects from the new 2024 archaeology dig. 11am-4pm in the Conservation Suite.
Free entry. Standard parking fees of £4 per car apply for non-members.
