Birkin Church Heritage Day
St Mary's Church, Birkin, Snaith, Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire, DN14 9TL
The church will be open from 10am until 4pm for anyone to come and look around this beautiful Norman church, built in 1179. There will be representatives from local family history groups for those researching family trees.
Food will be available all day
(We are also hoping to have people from a local Norman society on site in traditional dress, demonstrating how the Normans would have cooked and lived.

Our toilet is a disabled size portaloo in the church grounds. Pathway to the door is gravel. If the ground is not wet, parking will be available in the field behind the church (on the roadside towards Beal)
