Bilton's Past

Bilton Historical Society has amassed a large archive of material and information on the history of Bilton. A presentation and talk will be given about Bilton's past, 1100 years from Jorvik to Covid, based on the research and discoveries made by members of the Society since it was formed in 1996. There will also be an opportunity to look at some of the information collected by the Society and ask questions about Bilton with members of the Society.

Bilton Community Centre is located about 100m level walking from the Harrogate-Bilton Route 2 'Hill Top Walk' bus stop. There is no parking at Bilton Community Centre. Please note that on-street parking in the vicinity of Bilton Community Centre is restricted. Please park sensibly so as not to obstruct other road users. Also, please be considerate to the local neighbourhood by not blocking pavements or access driveways, etc.
The talk/presentation will take about 60 minutes, starting at about 10:30. There will be opportunities before and after the talk to see some of Bilton Historical Society's information archive and ask questions about Bilton,
