Free entry to Biddulph Grange Garden including access via the Bateman Walk through the historic St Lawrence churchyard and access into the Biddulph Grange Country Park via the Wellingtonia Avenue (subject to staffing levels).

Biddulph Grange Garden is opening its gates for free entry to the garden. You can take a walk to St Lawrence church and the beautifully maintained churchyard via the historic Bateman Walk or stroll into the country park (once part of the Bateman estate) to meander through the woods and alongside the boating lake. Please note assistance dogs only are allowed in the garden.

Accessibility details

Biddulph is a valley so there is a continual gradient throughout the garden, over 400 steps and tight narrow paths and dark tunnels. The tearoom is up 2 sets of steps.

Additional information

There is a house at Biddulph Grange but this is private property and not open to the public. No picnics in the garden. All toilets are family toilets.
