On the ‘Behind the Scenes’ tour of Frome Museum you will visit the vaulted basements in Bridge Street, the ‘cantilever’ staircase in the main entrance, the lower and upper exhibition Galleries, the Library and Collections Room.

Frome Museum is located in the historic, listed, Frome Literary and Scientific Institution building. The Behind the Scenes Tour will take you to parts of the Museum not normally open to the public and provide you with a chance to see the extensive archives stored at the Museum.
The tour involves a lot of steps and stairs so is unsuitable for anyone with a disability or problems with mobility.
The tours will begin at 11.00am and 3.30pm on Saturday September the 7th. The tour will last approximately an hour and a half.

The tour involves stairs and steps. The ceilings in the basement are curved so low at sides. There is no wheel chair access.
