Headstone Manor is the only completely moated Manor House in Greater London, site dates from 825BCE The Manor House still standing today dates from 1310.
Come and explore our secret spaces and hear a tale or two from Headstone's amazing past. This 45 minute tour will take you from the Stone Age to the 21st century, introducing you to the people who lived here and the changes they made to the site. Join our expert guide and go behind the scenes!
Sturdy flat footwear is essential. Tour participants must be able to climb narrow steps / stairs.

Accessibility details
Some of the rooms can be accessed only via steps and some doorways are only 70cm wide. There is a small platform lift to the first floor where four rooms are step-free but doorways are narrow. Please dress warmly in cold weather and wear robust shoes. Some floors are uneven and some stairs have rope handrails. We begin the tour outdoors and most of the museum is unheated.

Headstone Manor & Museum is open from 10am-4pm. During Heritage Open Days we will offer a coffee and cake deal for £5.50 at the Moat café.
