The tour of Coventry Central Library in the centre of Coventry, will delve into the history of the building’s former life as the Locarno Ballroom where classic bands played and many a good time was had. The library hasn’t forgotten it’s musical past with Get It Loud In Libraries gigs happening throughout the year with up and coming artists. The tour will also cover all aspects of the library and how it functions, including access to areas not usually accessible to the public. The library has recently been host to Queen Camilla, then The Duchess of Cornwall, where she launched the One Million Reads challenge and even read a story during her visit in May 2021.
