Behind the Curtain at Poynton Players Theatre

Poynton Players Amateur Dramatic Society was established in 1931 as Poynton Dramatic Society and has remained active in the village since that time, entertaining visitors with performances of all kinds.

Join the Society at their theatre for an open afternoon where you can grab a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy a look behind the scenes with members. Learn about the development of the theatre building from the 70's through to the present day, have a look around the theatre - with insider info on how everything works - and archive material such as old posters, programmes and photographs.

No need to book - just turn up!

The theatre is located on a small side street opposite Poynton British Legion. The car park is not for the theatre, so parking nearby is advised.
