Bebington Cemetery Guided History Walk

Town Lane, Bebington, Merseyside, CH63 5JF

  • Multiple dates available
  • In person
  • Pre-booking required

Bebington Cemetery was opened in 1868, following a population increase.

Visiting it is a great way to think about our local and national history. The graveyard reflects many of the social issues and significant events of the time including the two world wars, prevalent diseases and significant accidents.

Guided tours will take place and will be facilitated by members of the Friends of Bebington Cemetery, they will share with you some of the information they have gleaned about some of those buried in the cemetery and how they were affected by local and national events. They will also talk about the work of the Friends Group and how they are trying to support the maintenance of the graveyard.
