Join us for a lecture by Dale Munn MA MSc, about the history and function of the medieval manor house that was once located on what we know as ‘Castle Field’, but perhaps should be called Manor Field instead. He uses topographical studies and archaeological evidence to give a probable location to the medieval village of Barton Seagrave as well as features of the manor such as fish ponds and moats.
