Welcome to the Aylesbury Masonic Hall - visit us to learn more about the building, which has been used for Masonic meetings for close to 150 years, and to get a glimpse behind closed doors.

Your visit will be hosted by members of Aylesbury Lodge. Aylesbury Lodge was Consecrated on Thursday 31st May 1923 by R W Bro Sir Edward Inglefield, the Provincial Grand Master of Buckinghamshire. We are the Daughter Lodge of Ferdinand de Rothschild Lodge No 2420 and Grand Daughter of Buckingham Lodge No 591.

Aylesbury Lodge was the first to be Consecrated in the Masonic Temple at Ripon Street, but subsequently met for 17 years at the Bulls Head Hotel which formally stood in Market Square. At the Lodge meeting of 14th November 1940 Notice of Motion was given to move the place of meeting to the Masonic Hall. The Lodge met there for the first time since its Consecration on 9th October 1941 and we continue to meet there to this day.
