Built in the early 19th Century the Ashton Gatehouse has been through many changes, with the most recent refurbishment in 2016, during which many objects were found that have links to the wonderful City of Bristol. The Gatehouse stands in a prominent location between Ashton Gate and Long Ashton, with views ranging from the Great Ashton Court Estate and the Ashton Vale Green Belt. With less than a 10 minute walk to the Great Ashton Court Estate and many wonderful walking paths to explore. We are pleased to open our doors to visitors during the Heritage Open days 2024.

Accessibility details
We have ground floor accessibility for wheelchairs and pushchairs, however the stairs to the upper room are narrow and steep. There are fixtures, found historical objects and information on the ground floor for all to be able to see.
