Visitors can enjoy the grandeur and beauty of the only elliptical church in England, whilst being guided through its history.

There has been a Christian church standing on the site of All Saints on the northern bank of the River Tyne since the twelfth century. The present building, constructed between 1786 and 1796, is an excellent example of 18th-century neoclassical architecture, but it is also a reflection of post-reformation theology in architecture. It was built to the designs of David Stephenson (1756–1819), a local builder and architect, and is where Lord Armstrong (of Cragside fame) was baptised. Come and see the wonderful things this magnificent building has to offer and how lovingly this Grade I listed building has been restored and returned to use as a place where God is worshipped.
