Alderson House, Warwick
Alderson House, 23 High Street, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV34 4AX
Come and have a tour of our lovely building, see the impressive original grand staircase, the scary cellars and other original features.
Don't be fooled by the front door, it doesn't open! Access is from our car park in Back Lane. If you are able to come up the steps into the house, turn right and wait in the bar for the next tour. If less able to go through the door on the lower level, go to the end of the passage and turn left, there is a lift. Press and hold 1, when the lift stops a chime will sound, the bar is to the left of the staircase.
Have you ever been inside a Masonic Lodge room, now is your chance, ask us some questions, it isn't really all secret!
Look at the photographs of the building of old whilst you wait in the bar and read its impressive history. Afterwards, take your ease in our quiet garden and catch your breath. Yes, you can leave your car if you have other places to visit.

Our lift covers 3 of the 4 floors but access to the top floor is by stairs only. Happily, it is the least interesting floor as most of it is taken up with our resident manager. We have on site parking. Access for pedestrians or motorists is via Back Lane.
You will NOT see the building at its best if you walk around unaccompanied. Please go up the steps to the blue door, hopefully there will be someone to meet and greet you. If not please go just past the stairs into the bar and take in the old photographs and history of the building until your guide collects you. If you are not able to climb the steps please use the lower blue door, go to the end of the passage and look left, where you will see the lift. Please go to the 1st. floor and into the bar as above.
