A Very Special Visitor: Mary Anning visits the Booth Museum (Quiet Session)
194 Dyke Road, Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, BN1 5AA
Find out about why Mary Anning was so important and how her discoveries changed the way we think about the history of the earth.
With an amazing collection of birds, skeletons and natural specimens; the Booth Museum is the perfect location for a visit from Mary. She makes the perfect host to show you around and talk about some of the unusual creatures from the museum collections.
Our quiet sessions welcome anyone who feels that they would benefit from a calmer, more relaxed experience at the museum. This may include those with autism, mental health needs, dementia or any sensory requirements. This session will have a limited capacity so booking is essential please. If you cannot attend, please let us know so that we may re-allocate your ticket to someone else. Mary Anning will also be at the Booth Museum for all audiences without need for booking between 1-3pm.
