A Talk: The Brass Mills of Keynsham

Keynsham played an important part in the growth of the Brass Industry in the early 18th century. We will look at the three Brass Mills in the town; how and why they developed, what they were used for and what happened as the industry declined. Descendants of some of the immigrant workers still live in the area and we will describe something of their lives and the work they did.
