A wonderful opportunity for us to welcome you to step back in time into the history of St Paul's.
Understand the history of St Paul’s we will display the original historic concept building plans sealed with wax, and other significant historical scripts from the Diocese of Chester.
View baptism, wedding and funeral ledgers, which have been perfectly preserved in our vaults, some reaching back to the 1800’s, perhaps you will find the missing pieces of your family ancestry?
Take the opportunity to direct your questions and queries to our knowledgeable guide who will also provide assisted tours of the church, highlighting key features.
Step up to the Altar where nostalgic melodies will draw you back in time, be amazed at the spiritual beauty and splendid colours of our magnificent stained-glass windows and the stories of Christianity held within them.
Children can join in by entering our ‘Stained-Glass Window’ colouring competition; every entry will receive a prize and the best overall entry will be displayed in our Café and be presented with a winning prize.
There will be delicious home-made cakes and fresh coffee served in our Cafe on the Corner.
