  • Multiple dates available
  • In person

Our Grade II listed church will be open for guided tours, self-led trails and children's activities, relating to our rich heritage. On Wednesday a Community Café in the church hall will provide lunches and light refreshments.

Come and look around our Grade II listed building and connect with the fascinating combination of 10th and 20th century architecture. Explore one of York's finest collections of 10th century sculpture and hunt for Robert 'Mousey' Thompson's signature carved mice on the church furniture. A printed guide will be available or our volunteers can show you round and share the stories of the church with you. There will be a display of historic photographs and a range of activities for the children.

Share in the community lunch from 1200 on Wednesday or join us for for coffee and cake on Sundays between 1100 and 1200. A short service will be held in the Lady Chapel at 1445 on Wednesday and there is a service at 1000 every Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome at Holy Redeemer!
