A History of Fleetwood Memorial Park
Memorial Park, off Warrenhurst Road, Fleetwood, Lancashire, FY7 7AE
During the early 1900's the private garden of a large house became Warrenhurst Pleasure Grounds. Then after the Great War it became a memorial to the fallen - Memorial Park. Its open spaces have staged major town events for nearly a hundred years. The walk will be on paths and pavements in and around the park, it could be uneven in places. Distance approximately 1.5 miles.
