The Walk of Art 2023 textile map.
Call in and enjoy our large vibrant wall hanging displayed in the quilt room. A textile map of Horsforth created by the children and residents of the village to celebrate our local Horsforth art festival “The walk of Art” during the summer of 2023.
Our textile map is complimented by a large colourful wall quilt of a country scene, made in memory of Alfred who served in WW1. On another wall a collage created as a millennium celebration piece made by the pupils Tinshill County Primary School which closed in 2002.
A travelling photographer.
A glimpse into the life of Joseph Wallett, a Travelling photographer and his connection to a horrific murder of a child in Horsforth, during the summer of 1891. Why does he take the same image 18 years apart?
