How the early years of the Railway helped shape Grimsby and Cleethorpes: an exhibition celebrating the arrival of the railway to North East Lincolnshire.

2023 marks 175 years since the opening of Grimsby railway station, with Cleethorpes railway station celebrating its 160th year.

Launched as part of Heritage Open Days on 15th September, this exhibition will display never before seen objects from the museum collection, examining how the railway helped develop industry and leisure in Grimsby and Cleethorpes. The exhibition will also celebrate the 150th anniversary of Cleethorpes Pier.

No pre-booking is required, last admission to the museum is one hour before closing time, cafe closes one hour before closing time, gift shop closes half an hour prior to closing times.
