'A Walk Back in Time' - The town centre (2022)
Berkhamsted Castle, Brownlow Road, Hertfordshire, HP4
Starting by the main gateway of the Castle, the oldest building, we shall make our way towards the High Street pointing out significant buildings and events as we cross the canal and make our way down Castle Street in the High Street where there is much to see. We shall not spend long at buildings that feature in the HODs with their own guided tour. We shall return via Mills Street and the site of the Saxon Mill.

Accessibility details
There is some walking on uneven ground and cobbled lanes. Stout shoes are recommended. Tour will take place regardless of weather conditions. There are a number of public car parks close by.
Additional information
There are some cobbled streets and standing around. It is always possible to leave the tour at any point. The tour is not suitable for children under 8.
