Victoria Baths and The World Around Us: Create A Nature Inspired Zine (2020)

We're creating a digital zine celebrating all things Hidden Nature, and we're looking for contributions. A zine (shortened from magazine) is a booklet created by an individual or group celebrating a particular topic, and it is full of both images and words. This is a collaborative project, for everyone to enjoy. We're accepting submissions for writing, drawings, photos, recipes (and anything else you can think of!) from all ages, and all places. If you're not sure where to start, we have a series of prompts on our website, but have a think about what nature you have been noticing more during lockdown. Be personal, make a statement, or share your knowledge; we can't wait to see what you come up with! You can submit a full A5 page, or pieces to be incorporated, by emailing [email protected] by 20th September.
The zine is currently untitled, so please send any suggestions to us via email or social media!
During the Heritage Open Days festival we will be showcasing some of the entries on our social media, in a digital exhibition. Keep an eye on @victoriabaths for updates!
The final product will be available as a digital download during the festival, so you can share your published work with your friends and family.

All submissions must be family friendly! All work must be the contributors own, and by submitting items, you agree to give us publishing rights. Contributors also agree that we can use the final product for fundraising purposes.
