St. Martins Marple opens its doors again to show the wonderful delights of the Arts and Crafts Movement. There are many fine examples of this within the church, with examples by the leading designers of the time.

This is an opportunity to see the outstanding art and architecture within a nationally and internationally recognised Arts and Crafts building. There are many fine examples within the church by artists such as William Morris, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Ford Maddox Brown, Edward Burne Jones, Christopher Whall, Henry Wilson and many more.

Your safety is our main concern, every effort has been taken to keep you safe and the site is meets and exceeds government advice and is Covid Safe. Information cards are located around the church with enhancements to give you as much information as possible. Guides will be on hand should you wish to know more information, at a safe distance. Numbers inside the church will be limited to keep you safe. Come and see this amazing building, safely and with confidence.

There is level access to the church but a steep hill to access the church. Inside the church there is a step into the chancel area but guides and assistance is available.

St. Martins is a wonderful example of the Arts & Crafts Movement and has to be seen to believed, there is something of interest around every corner and the social stories are fascinating as well.
