Manningham Walk (2020)
Manningham Mills, West Yorkshire,
Download our 'self-guided walk' around the Manningham area of Bradford. The online only walk will include fascinating buildings and people from the past and present, plus some future plans. Whether you are a current or former resident of the area, or an interested Bradfordian, a visitor or a student, you are very welcome to do so. You can either do the walk from home by reading the text and seeing the images or, if you wish, one can download the online file and use it to do a self-guided walk. However, there will be no guided walk this year.
Available anytime
Manningham Mills, West Yorkshire,
The route is on public pavements with some public road crossings. The first third of the walk is slightly downhill, the middle third is about level and the final third is slightly uphill. The start is from just outside the Manningham Mills main entrance on the corner with adjacent Patent St. No toilets or café - sorry (the Mills community centre unfortunately had to close some years ago due to financial cuts). There are public toilets just over halfway through the walk in the Manningham public library (if the library is open)
Self-Guided walk. The walk, in easy stages lasts around 1 and three-quarter hours on public pavements.
