This is a live digital event from the original Rochdale Pioneer's shop at 31 Toad Lane, home to the world's first modern co-operative. Join us at 19:00 for a tour and presentation as well as the opportunity to ask questions and share your memories.

Join us on Saturday 12th of September to celebrate Heritage Open Days Festival with a live presentation and an introduction to the heritage of the Co-operative Movement.
Starting in Rochdale in 1844 as a result of grassroots activism, the business model spread all over the world and came to dominate the British retail experience by the 20th Century.
These digital tours are usually charged but to celebrate the festival we are offering members of the public a chance to book a free slot. In order to book a place, please select a free ticket on our website.
Please be aware that numbers are limited for this event so the sooner you book a place the better.
