The hard graft and expertise that has always brought commercial and industrial success to Calderdale is through the dedication of a group of volunteers breathing new life into its Industrial Museum.

From 9 September 2017 Calderdale Industrial Museum was once again, after 17 years, opened to the public each Saturday. There are 3 floors open to the public. The basement is dedicated to engineering and mining. The ground floor tells the story of power from the waterwheel to electricity. The first floor has carpet and moquette looms, cork, leather and sock making workshops, washing machines, wire making and the story of Quality Street.
