Bradford City Centre Heritage Trail - A self-guided Walk (2020)

Bradford City Hall, Centenary Square, West Yorkshire, BD1 1HY

  • Available anytime
  • Pre-booking not required

This self-guided walk takes you around Bradford’s historic and fascinating city centre, highlighting some of its remarkable architecture and other features of interest.

Follow the self-guided Bradford Heritage Trail to see some of the city centre's primary heritage hotspots, rich in history and architectural design.
The Bradford Heritage Trail is a casual walk involving city centre footpaths. The route is pushchair and wheelchair friendly; however, it does involve some gradual uphill and downhill footpaths.
We recommend beginning the walk at City Hall, but it can be picked up and followed at any point on the route. The first part of the walk should take approximately two hours, although may be a little longer if you choose to include the Little Germany and Cathedral parts of the route.

We have endeavoured to make the route as accessible and inclusive as possible, but please be aware that central Bradford can be quite hilly in places. Enjoy your visit; allow yourself plenty extra time to soak up the sights!
