All things bright & beautiful: Nature in a Gothic Church (2020)
St. Josephs Church, Slyne Road, Lancashire, LA1 2HU
After the introductory talk at 2pm, there will be points around the church where a guide will explain particular symbols: What does a mouse, a donkey, a dove, a pelican and a lamb, a poppy and a rose, and a cloth of gold all have in common and what do they all point towards? This tour will be suitable for people of all ages, and especially families and young children.
