Current temporary exhibitions include:
The Past (and Present) on Glass:
Portraits by David Knights Whittome 1905-1918, and Dave Shrimpton 2024.
Between 2014-2018, Sutton Archives digitised over 10,000 Glass Plate Negatives from a C20th photographer's studio which once existed on Sutton High Street. In January 2024, Portrait of Britain winning photographer Dave Shrimpton captured a contemporary set of images of local people in homage to this archive. Discover faces from Sutton's past and present in this small but fascinating display.

Dressed to Rule: Tudor Fashion for the Young and Curious
This new exhibition uses illustration to examine the history of Tudor Fashion! Looking at fabrics, sewing techniques and how different garments were worn, this exhibition uses fashion as a way of looking at what life was like during the Tudor period. Designed with younger audiences in mind, this engaging exhibition encourages you to think about what your life might have been like in Tudor times! Don’t miss our dressing up clothes in the adjacent room!

The new Beans and Blooms Cafe will be open on Thursday and Fridays. The Cafe is a partnership with local social enterprise, Nickel Support: https://www.nickel.org.uk/about-us
