There are a lot of steps and uneven floor surfaces. Access for people with mobility issues and wheelchairs is possible but has to be booked in advance, due to an extra member of staff needing to be present to operate the lift. (The lift cannot be used unless prior booking made as it links to the library building). There are no toilet facilities in the Tolhouse Gaol - there are some in Great Yarmouth Library next door which can be accessed during normal library opening hours.
No booking is required although you can book online through our website closer to the time if you would like to.
