Swanland Village Hall
Swanland Village Hall, Main St, Swanland, East Riding of Yorkshire, HU14 3QR
The Village Hall, built in 1876 and extended in 1936, began life as Swanland School. It ceased to be a school in 1971 and, in 2004, after a further extension, it became the Village Hall. It will host a display of Swanland Heritage Centre’s model of Swanland showing a representation of its appearance in 1824, alongside maps showing the changes over the years. There will also be displays by the Heritage Centre and Swanland’s U3A History Groups. Refreshments will be available to purchase.
