Meet a host of different characters from history at this fun event which is free for everyone. Held on St Neots historic Market Square the Festival brings to life over 2,000 years of history with items to handle, people to meet and activities to try.

Discover 2,000 years of history in one day at St Neots Museum’s Living History Festival. The event runs from 11.00am until 4.00pm and is a unique way to find out about people from the past. Meet a Roman Soldier, taste Roman style food, sit in the replica medieval stocks, try Tudor food in the museum and meet King Charles II and his Queen Catherine of Braganza. Explore warfare through the ages with our Viking and medieval knights, talk tactics with soldiers from both world wars and hear about the Battle of Waterloo from Napoleonic soldiers. Discover the Home Front during WW2 and then travel back in time to meet the local Eynesbury Giant - over eight feet tall in 1818! Then before you leave dress up in period costume and have a free photo taken in our replica Victorian photo booth. A completely free event for everyone.
