St Edmund's Church Roundhay Leeds Open Morning

'Why not spend your Saturday having a look around your local church whilst enjoying refreshments, and seeing what we have to offer on our stalls? We will have cakes, books, local produce, Traidcraft and quizzes available.

St Edmund's dates from 1907 and is a grade II listed building in Roundhay conservation area. The original instigators of the building were seeking to create a space for worship with a suitable grandeur to befit the area it served. We think they succeeded.
We invite you to come and see our heritage treasures which include a community war memorial, impressive stained-glass windows and a Binns organ. Tours will be led by trained volunteers or you can look around on your own with the help of our informative leaflets and QR codes.
We will have activities for children including a church trail with prizes suitable for ages 3 plus.
Join us for refreshments whilst soaking up the atmosphere of this impressive building.

Directions:

If you are coming by bus from Leeds City Centre you could catch a number 3 from outside the Corn Exchange. Get off on Lidgett Lane at the top of North Park Avenue. It is then a short walk to St Edmund's Church.

If you require level access please park outside the North Door on North Park Avenue . We will reserve parking directly outside the door for those needing this access. Access to most of the church is on the level but there is access to the Sanctuary via a small internal lift.
