St Clement's Church

St Clement's Church, Marston Road, Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX4 1FN

Saint Clement's was the first church to be built on a new site in Oxford since the Middle Ages. Built in 1825 to 1827, replacing our medieval church on The Plain, in a Romanesque revival style.

In recent years, there has been a minor reordering inside the church and a major renovation of the external stonework. Inside, you can see our thirteenth-century bell and our stained-glass windows originally in the demolished St Martin's on Carfax. Today, we are a diverse and thriving church family in the evangelical tradition of the Church of England.
