A chance to visit Whitchurch parish church and view its newly restored stained glass windows. Also, parish registers, not already deposited in the county archives, will be available for the public to search.

Within the church, there will be a number of displays and exhibitions.

The following Parish Registers will be available for the public to search:
- Baptism records from 1896 - the present day.
- Registers of Marriage 1896 - the present day.
- An index and Monumental inscriptions from 1896 - 1973.
- Register of cremated remains from 1973 - the present day.

It will also be possible to view the beautiful Victorian stained glass windows created by William Warrington, that have recently been restored. The three windows in the Apse above the high altar were paid for by public subscription in 1858. The central window depicts the Ascension: Jesus ascends into heaven, leaving his disciples below him and received by angels above him. The main figure in the left hand window is St Peter carrying a bunch of keys (Matthew 16:19); the main figure in the right hand window is St Paul with a sword (whose pen was mightier than any sword).
Also worthy of close inspection is the timeline story around the walls.
