Beautiful exhibition of Islamic art. Studying and collecting Islamic art throughout the world, Rawan has been driven by only one principle aspect that there is no way to spread peace in world without the medium of art.

Razwan Baig is a scholar, collector, philanthropist, Islamic art critic and researcher. His Islamic art collection includes items as diverse as textiles and ceramics to Qur’anic manuscripts and has been shown in several major art museums and international exhibitions.
His Collection is regarded as one of the largest private collections of Islamic Manuscripts in Europe. His interest in Islamic calligraphy began at the age of 12 and he has run workshops and presented on the art of calligraphy since 1994. He completed his qualifications in History of Art & Archaeology of Islamic world, from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He has also obtained extensive training in Arabic calligraphy in many different styles from Birkbeck College and The University of Sunderland.
Razwan Baig has studied with world renowned calligraphers from Turkey, Baghdad and Pakistan.
His Collection has been exhibited internationally in major museums and institutions such as The British Museum, The British Library, The Victoria and Albert Museum and The Bucks County Museum to name but a few. His passion for exhibiting his Collection is solely due to the promotion of peace and tolerance in society. He uses his collection to build bridges between communities and break all the barriers of race, culture, faith and religion.
