Ever wondered what really went on in our beautiful (most-likely haunted!) base at Gippeswyk Hall over the centuries? Wanted to poke around the curious Tudor building for clues about its history and heritage? Well, you can do just that!

On the 14th Sept we are throwing open our doors to the public as part of Heritage Open Days, so anyone can come and explore Gippeswyk Hall and The Avenue Theatre. You are invited to step into our leading arts and heritage venue for an immersive theatrical experience which combines exciting moments of real local history.

You can learn all about its fascinating history through guided tours running throughout the day regularly from 1100-1600.

It’s also a great way to find out more about our work and what exciting events we have planned this autumn/winter at the theatre.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund supported us in our quest for a new venue behind the Grade II* listed Tudor Gippeswyk Hall.
