A photography exhibition of Old Wycombe, taking place in one of the most historic buildings in Wycombe (dating from 1399)

The Exhibition provides a glimpse into past Wycombe's town centre, many of these photographs will not have been seen in public before. Taken by a local photographers.
These prints are from the late Councillor Bob Kin's collection. After his passing, his widow, Rosie Kin, generously donated thousands of prints from his private collection to MarkPage who has curated this exhibition.
Most of the photos were taken by Ron Goodearl, who was the official photographer for the Bucks Free Press newspaper. Ron, who passed away at the age of 88. He initially traveled by motorcycle and later by car to take these photographs.
In addition to Ron Goodearl's work, the total collection includes prints by Starling, Findlow, Sweetland, and Cyril Roberts
These photographers were active in High Wycombe from 1899 onwards.
Cyril Roberts, in particular, who was active from 1928 had his photographic studio in the Wheatsheaf building.
