Chartists, Conscientious objectors, early female ministers all feature in the history of the Chapel. We were one of the first in the area to register to hold same-sex marriages.

Pepper Hill Unitarian Chapel is an attractive non-conformist chapel, which has served the community as a place of worship, venue for weddings, Christenings and funerals, a Sunday school and community centre since the mid-19th century.

NEW for 2024 will be a comprehensive illustrated history book about the Chapel which we will launch over the weekend. Copies will be on sale for £6. Come and meet the authors!

ALSO NEW THIS YEAR we will have readings from the book 'A Bradford Lad' by Richard Tempest of Pepper Hill each day at 1400.

On Sunday there will be a short inclusive service led by Rev. John Midgley at 10:45 a.m.
