Mosaics by the Pool

The afternoon will involve an exhibition of the story of how the pool and the mosaics came into being, the development of the pool and the mosaic artwork hosted by Batchley Support Group. Alongside the exhibition, Jackie Nash, a local professional mosaic artist, will run ‘make a mosaic tile’ activities, that you can take home and find out more about mosaic artwork. No previous experience needed and great fun to do as an individual or in a group. To accompany all of this, we will have circus skills workshops, walk-a-bout theatre, and light refreshments throughout the afternoon. The Reimagine Redditch Team will be available throughout the event to talk to people about the future creative ideas and plans for Batchley and to co-design these with the community. Please come along and discover more about Batchley’s past, have fun, meet new people, find out more and have your say about the future exciting creative plans!
