Step back in time to the 1940s. Find out about life on the Home Front during WWII, see what people wore, try wartime foods and Dig for Victory - plant your own veg to take home!

To complement our fabulous 'Keeping Up Appearances' exhibition of clothing and accessories from World War Two, we're looking at life on the Home Front. Find out how people coped with the restrictions of rationing, and the alternatives they came up with.
Taste the Past - try food made from wartime recipes.
Dig for Victory - plant seeds to take home and grow your own vegetables!

Refreshments will be available in our Tea Room, with delicious homemade cakes, tea, coffee and soft drinks - there'll be no rationing in there!

On Sunday 15th September we'll also be hosting the 9th Great Eccleston Bake-off, visit our website to find out more.
